Breaking all my Rules....

Ok so I absolutely LOVE Christmas!  But I have weird thing about starting Christmas before Thanksgiving.  I refuse to put in my Christmas CD's of turn on any radio stations that listen to Christmas music until the Friday after.   Then its game on.  Well Saturday Jason suggested we make a gingerbread house (I had mentioned I wanted to do it)  I know we will have other opportunities to make them with a couple different groups of friends but I still couldnt help myself I said yes.  So we got candy, frosting, graham crackers and went to town.  Jason's sister Lisa and her friend Chelsea stopped by and helped.  Our friend Austin also popped in a helped a little.  It was so much fun and I was so proud of our house!
This is the christmas tree in the backyard.... made all our of frosting.  Jason made that since me and Chelsea both tried to squeeze that stupid green frosting out but it was too hard.
This picture doesn't even do it justice.  This house was soo good.  Two story.  graham cracker entry way, open door, noo glue completely edible.  amazing.

Fire! Fire! Fire!

This weekend was soo weird, mainly because of all of the Southern California fires.  Saturday there was one in Brea and Yorba Linda which caused for a lot of smoke and ash in Fullerton.  It continued into Sunday and Monday.  The fires have moved through Carbon canyon (still there) and into Chino Hills and Diamond Bar.  Saturday Night we were suppose to go to an Austism Benefit in Chino Hills that Ashlee's family puts on every year.  She left at 4:30 to try and find a way to get over there...  at 7:30 she gave up after only making it 10 miles.  Then Sunday we only had sacrament meeting since there were many people in our ward who were evacuated from their houses.  That night Jason and Austin came over for dinner, and after dinner we decided to drive around to see if we can see any of the fires still.  We went to Yorba Linda and I was driving through a random neighborhood just trying to get to the top of a hill and suddenly we noticed random houses burnt to the ground.  It was so crazy how one house would be completely destroyed and then the one next to it was fine.  Anyways I hope the fires start to slow down and that everyone is staying safe.  I am pretty sure everyone in our area is pretty much good now...

I stole this picture from my friend Ryan.  He took this from his backyard in Yorba Linda

Jason

I dont really like to talk about boys so much on here cuz they usually come and go so fast but me and Jason decided that we are exclusively dating.  It wont get too serious since he is turning in his papers to go on a mission in the next couple weeks (he is 21).  Anyway he is a really fun guy, his roommates or old roommates are always asking us to go on double dates with them and whatever new girl they are interested in.  So thats basically the scoop if you hear the name Jason often now.

On that note last night Jason, his old roommate Taylor, Trisha and me went on a double date.  Way back in September Taylor told me he thought Trisha was cute but nothing was ever done about it.  Well finally we set up a double date.  They took us to this nice resturant at Belmount Shores right on the water.  We ate outside right by a fire so it was still nice and warm.  It was really nice until the end of the dinner when me and trisha saw a cockroach on the floor.  It kept coming towards us.  I dont know why the server didnt just kill it but instead she chased it away.  Anyway like 5 or 10 mins went by and we were all talking and suddenly i saw it under trisha's feet so I jumped which made trisha spaz out and spill water all over Taylor.  I dont know why were are so retarded.
We decided to leave right after that and go to the queen mary, Trisha had never been and I have really only been on the merry go round on the outside and walked around it a few times with Mel.  This is probably really bad but Jason knew where all the old supposedly haunted rooms were so we went there and Jason picked the locks.  I won't lie... it was WAY creepy.  Trisha didnt get past the first room so most the time it was just me and jason.  I think I got the most scared when we were at the spot were the pool was.  Right when we got back these 3 older people and their little kid were trying to look around so Jason reunlocked the door for them to look around where we had just been (I honestly think its just where they take people on tours) Trisha thought it would be safe with the 3 year old girl there so we went with them and all 8 of us explored.  It was funny.  We decided that was probably enough for one night.  (i have an overactive imagination) So we headed to yogurtland and called it a night!  I sorta hope Trisha likes Taylor... they would be fun to double with.... oh well if not!
