Vegas!

   This past weekend was a girls trip to Vegas.  I am probably the worst person about taking pictures.  I just always forget my camera or just dont think to pull it out so all the pictures posted are thanks to my friend Aryn!  Anyway so Friday when we got off work me and Ashlee started the drive up to Vegas.  We didnt hit much traffic and was there by 10.  That night we actually hung out with her cousin and his friends instead of going out since right when we got there they were leaving to go out, and we werent ready.  Plus I think Doug (ashlee's cousin) was excited to have us in town.  He works for a wedding chapel on the strip driving limo's so picked us up in the limo.  We then went to some 80's cover band, del taco then back to Dougs to hang out.  

        The next day was a total girls day.  We woke up all starving so got ready and then got food.  Then we spent the rest of the day walking around shopping and doing touristy things on the strip.   We ended up walking SOO FAR!!  our feet were killing up so we took a taxi back to our hotel (the Monte Carlo) and rested up before dinner.  For dinner we went to some sushi place that we had heard was soo good.  Well they had since changed the menu. it was not good at all.  Oh well.  We knew some people that could get us into a new club at the Wynn XS so we tried that out.  We saw Snoop Dogg there and got to dance with him for like 5 mins!!  That was fun...    After that we went to New York New York to this place Rok.  We ended up spending the rest of the night there.  It was pretty fun.  We were going to try one more place after that but all our feet hurt soo bad we just said forget lets put on pajama's and get food.

      Sunday all the other girls were leaving so they got ready and went to get food then head out. Me and Ashlee took our time and got ready then Doug called and invited us to church so we met up with him and went to his ward with him and his friends.  One of his friends Brandon invited us over for family dinner, so after church we all went over there.  There was a CES broadcast that night with Pres. Monson that his dad really wanted him to go too so we all went to that after.  The rest of the night we just hung out.  Brandon's parents let us stay at their grandparents house that they bought.  No one ever stays there so me and ashlee had our own place Sunday night which was nice.  We woke up monday morning got ready got lunch on the strip, walked around a little bit then headed home.  All in all it was a very fun weekend!  It had been awhile since I had been to Vegas and this trip was exactly what I needed!

This was Saturday night.  we went to the hotel cafe in pajama's and socks to eat and they wouldnt let us walk like 10 feet to our table to eat without shoes so we sent Larisa and Anna to get shoes for us all.  This is what we all got.  
      

New Years Eve!

This year for New Years Eve we went to San Diego for a big YSA thing down there.  I had to work that day but ended up getting off at 12 which was nice cuz I had time to meet Ashlee for lunch and go home watch a movie, take a nap then get ready before, we headed down to Huntington to meet up with Jason, Austin, Kui, and Todd.  Before going to the dance we stopped by the hotel we were staying at to drop off our stuff and meet up with some other people.  (there were like 20+ people staying at the Sheridan) The dance was a lot of fun.  This year they had Subway and Golden Spoon, laser tag (which i didnt get to do cuz there was too long of a line), I guess they also had rockband set up but I didnt see that.  I just had fun dancing with friends.  

    There was an after party that was at some church but first a band played then the DJ's were going to start.  But while the bands were playing someone pulled the fire alarm (lame... i know) so by the time the DJ's were about the start the fire department showed up and we all had to leave.  So we all went back to the hotel.  Messed around there for awhile.  Finally about 6:30 I decided I was too tired to stay awake anymore I crashed. 

       Everyone was up by 9:30 and wanting to get breakfast.  Mimi's won so pretty much all of us went over there for breakfast then headed home.  I was soo tired we went home slept for a few hours.  I then got up, showered, and Jason picked me up and I hung out in Huntington that night.  All in all I had a great new years and was glad i was able to spend it with friends and Jason.

Late Night Karaoke!

Saturday night everyone was looking for something to do.  So we decided to try out this little karaoke place in Garden Grove.  Basically you pay per hour and you and your group have your own room (you can choose the small, medium, or large room).  Well we ended up having a pretty large group so we had the largest room they had.  It was SOO fun!  For an hour we all sung and danced.  I am so glad we found this place...

Team Party Christmas Party

On friday night our Huntington group of friends (team party) had a Christmas party.  We had dinner (tacos) and had a white elephant gift exchange then made "awards" for each other.  but mainly we all hung out and talked.  It was a lot of fun to say the least.

Blanket!

So yesterday Jason texted me telling me had made me something, luckily I was able to get it last night cuz he was soo excited to give it to me.  I guess it took him hours to make me this blanket.  It turned out soo cute!  one side is bright green and the other side is pink with monkeys on it and SUPER soft.  I seriously love it and its Super warm.  He also made it a little bigger then normal so I can totally wrap myself up into it!

So everyone at work makes fun of me for being 22 and liking Hannah Montana.  So I will randomly get Hannah Montana stuff at work...  balloon, pen, candy with hannah montana's face on it.  Well here is the most recent...  I just think its soo funny.  (and my hannah montana pen writes better then any other pen thank you very much!!)

O Christmas Tree!!

Last night Jason and I went and visited with Grandma Snowball and helped her with some decorations.  After we were looking for something to and decided to get a tree,  Jason has been wanting to get one for our apartment for awhile now and everyone (ashlee trisha and errissa) were home so it was the perfect time!  I am bummed I didnt take any pictures of the finished tree, but by the time we finished I was soo tried!  We turned Elf on while we decoarted and made hot chocolate.  Trisha's parents donated some pretty ribbon (which Trisha and I made into bows!) and a set of 86 ornaments.  They are pretty all red, green, silver and gold.  and some are a cool glittered design.  Then we will also add whatever little ornaments we have from our house.
