Mustaches, 6 Flags and saying goodbye
This is me and jason messing around at their Dodgeball Tournament Saturday night.Saturday night there was a HUGE dodgeball tournament in Huntington Beach. So Ashlee and I met everyone down there. It was soo fun, we basically just played on the sidelines, then when the tournament was over we tried to get a game of knock out started... which didnt really work so we just messed around with basketballs. After the tournament there was a mustache party in Long Beach. Jason is obsessed with mustaches (trust me i know its weird) so he was very excited. We all drew on mustaches with some eye liner and headed out. It was pretty fun but to be totally honest I think it was more fun just getting ready for it. :)
me and my dirty stache.... sick I know!Sunday was Jasons farewell. I thought it was VERY nice. Because General COnference is this next weekend it was actually fast sunday. So Jason spoke and then everyone bore their testimonies. So both of his parents were able to bear their testimonies and some of his friends. Then that night there was a little open house at his sisters place. There was a good turn out but by the end of the night Jason was sooo tired. His family invited me to go to 6 Flags with them the next day so we both went to bed early since Monday would be a LONG day.
Monday morning I met everyone in Huntington at 9am. Jason's mom Lori decided to sit out of Magic Mountain since she doesnt really like rollercoasters and had a lot to do so she stayed home and watched Chloe. Magic Mountain was so fun and it was soo nice being able to spend all day with Jason before he got set apart. We got home that night around 7, and Jason was getting set apart at 9. We were still with his family til about 8 then we went back to his house to say goodbye. It was very tearful but sweet. I will miss him soo much but know he will be an amazing missionary. I am soo proud of his decision and am so grateful for the time we had together.
Jason's sister Lisa and me.
The whole group (minus Dan, Jasons dad) at the beginning of the day.Since Jason has left all my friends and family have been soo grate. I went straight to my parents monday night to get a little cuddle session in with my parents and just be with them. Then the next day I heard from Joy and Shannon, Jason's mom called me, and tons of friends either have called or texted me these past 2 days. Ashlee and my friend Eric got me a dozen white roses last night. I am just so grateful for my friends and family who have been sooo supportive and just amazing to me these past 2 months. I love you all!!!

Dive, Duck, Dip, Dodge!!
from left to right: Greg Wishart, Freddy Grether, Aaron Valdes, Ryan Huff, and Ryan Anderson. Representing Placentia 4th ward.
The ball busters playing against the Punishers. Both were the teams we were rooting for in our ward.
Me and Ashlee playing on the sidelines
Jason and Danny being good sports before the game.Monday night for FHE we had a dodgeball tournament against the Huntington Beach wards. It was soo much fun! Me and Ashlee were starting to regret our decision in just watching and not playing (until we played a game after the tournament and remembered why we hate playing dodgeball with boys) Anyway none of our friends teams won (in our ward or Huntington beach) so i guess in the end its ok. since they were all losers. Sadly the team that DID win was fron Huntington Beach. Anyway it was a very fun night! I love FHE's like that!

I'M BACK!!

This is me and Jason's last week together before he leaves for his mission, I am soo excited for him but will miss him soo much. I know the first little bit he is gone will be really hard on me. So we are spending as much time together as we can. Saturday night I had plans to help my friends DJ EL Dorado HS sadie hawkins dance. But afterwards me and Ashlee went down to Huntington to see Jason and friends. Then Sunday night was game night down there. Tonight our ward is playing against HB in a dodgeball tournament which should be pretty fun!
Chloe is still as cute as ever. Yesterday my friend Ryan Muirhead came over. He is a professional photographer and took some pictures of Chloe so hopefully some of them turned out ok... She was pretty hyper and wouldnt sit still.
This past weekend I was in SD for Bretts wedding. It was soo much fun seeing the familyand also to go to Blakes Baseball game. It was the first one I had been too and I had so much fun!
Anyway sorry I have been soo bad at updating! I should be better now!

Fun with Blake and Paige!
Last Saturday Jason and I went down to Laguna to help out Blake and Paige, they needed a couple for a shoot they were doing and we filled in. It was a lot of fun! Kinda funny since they were kinda like engagement pictures and we are clearly NOT engaged. But we had fun with it and I am excited to now have nice pictures of me and Jason together. Anyway go to Paige's blog and check out some of the ones she edited... I think they turned out great!

Chloe and High Valley
We were hanging out at the apartment and I looked over and found her asleep like this... she had been playing with my boots and I think it wore her out.
I like this picture because it gives you an idea on how small she is.
My mom helped me give Chloe her first bath.... then she shivered in her arms for the next 20 mins... poor thing. (I think she was playing it up a lot too.) After her bath she was extra fluffy and clean... super cute!
After her bath... Chloe LOVES grandma... I swear all she does whenever we are over here is sleep on her lap. I think mom is ok with it ;)Its been awhile since I have updated my blog simply because I am no longer constantly around a computer. Last Tuesday I was laid off at High Valley. I cant say I didnt really see it coming since construction is REALLY slow right now and we werent doing that good. But I was bummed. I grew to love my co-workers and will miss being around them everyday. I called Jason when I was driving home that morning and let him know and he asked if he could come over that night. When he got to my apartment he had me turn around cuz he had a suprise for me. I had an idea that he MIGHT be getting me a puppy for Valentines day but he brought her over early to cheer me up. It worked. I named her Chloe. She's a pomeranian Chuwuawua mix and is absolutely adorable. She's 9 weeks old now and weighs 1.33 pounds (the lady at petco weighed her today) She will probably only get about 4 pounds. I would be lying if I said it was super easy all the time... I first tried house training but I think tonight jason and I are going to get a crate for her and start with crate training cuz I felt like a new mother... waking up a couple times in the night to go to the bathroom with her... then early in the morning cuz she was up and wanting to play. But I love her :)

Mission Calls and Superbowl
Friday Jason got his mission call!! He was called to the.... wait for it.... Pocatello Idaho Mission!! hahaha!! He has been joking about being called there for weeks now so when he read that everyone (especially himself) just started laughing. He reports to the MTC April 1st and is very excited! I am excited for him. I will miss him soo much but I am so proud of his decision to serve a mission.
Sunday we had a big Superbowl potluck party at Jason's house. They recored the game that way we could all go to church (mom...) since singles wards start at 1. There was probably about 20-25 people there and everyone brought something so there was a bunch of food! I had such a stomach ache by the end of the night just from eating all the random food. blahh. But it was such a good game and sooo much fun!! I was sad the Cardinal's lost, they are Jason's favorite football team... and he honestly looked like he wanted to cry when the Steelers got that last touchdown in the final 50 seconds. haha oh well.
